This summer I went to California to spend time with friends and family, and of course, see the beach. Every time I go I like to shop since LA has such great stores. While I was there, I went to Abbott Kinney which is a street located near Venice Beach and has some of the cutest boutiques. I was able to seek out what's trending and now I can post about my findings here!
I swear everywhere I go, I see clothes with the color green. This was, of course, forecasted by Pantone which is a company that predicts colors which inevitably end up dominating industries that range from fashion (like the new collection at Zara) all the way to home decor (like paint selections at Sherwin Williams). Pantone showed various shades of greens for the summer season which are popping up everywhere.
In California, I saw plenty of green clothing items. If you want to freshen up your wardrobe, pulling in trending colors is an easy way to be up to date!
Platform slides are a hot trend this summer. Platforms are comfortable, easy to walk in, can be worn with socks, which makes them a great choice for casual or dressy outfits. You can find them in many colors and designs, so you're bound to find one that matches your personal style!
I know that these won’t be for everyone, so if you want to take this on in a simpler form you can try a heeled mule or just a slide sandal that doesn't have the platform.
The word crochet is derived from a french term meaning, small hook. It's a process of making textiles using a hook to interlock loops of yarn, thread, or strands of material. Crocheted items can dress up or dress down an outfit, or be the entire outfit. This makes it perfect for summer festivals, going out for drinks, or to wear as cover-up to the pool.
