Brenna Doyle moved to Los Angeles

First Month Living in Los Angeles

I moved to LA! Eeeepppp! It's been a month since I moved to California and it has been wonderful. This is my first time living alone and in a place that's not Arizona, so it's safe to say that this is all new to me. Check out some of the things I've been doing and get ready for a lot more posts on how my new home is treating me.

Photo Dump From My First Month

Whether it was walking down to the beach or going to a TV recording, I haven't turned down going to any "LA" outings. I'm going to try and experience as much of the city as I can, and of course share it here!

Brenna Doyle and Lily Sheahan at the beach in California

The Beach

I am a huge fan of the beach and always love going. One night, Lily, Paxton, and I went to the beach near their apartment and we had a charcuterie board and played trivia.

Brenna Doyle at the Late Late Show with James Corden recording in Hollywood, California

The Late Late Show

My friend Jess and I went to a recording of the Late Late Show with James Corden. In that episode, Florence and the Machine and Nick Kroll were on to get interviewed! To go to these types of recordings you just have to go to the CBS website and request tickets to be part of the audience. It's hilarious that right after we went there's been a ton of drama circling James and we found out that the show is being discontinued in the Spring.

Brenna Doyle goes to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California to see Maren Morris on tour

Maren Morris at the Hollywood Bowl

This was my first Hollywood Bowl concert! I loved the venue and Maren Morris was amazing. I am obsessed with her music so much more after seeing her perform live (I think I've listened to 'I Could Use a Love Song' at least a hundred times). She also brought out John Mayer and Hozier which we did not expect at all!! To make it better, the tickets were free since I got them off DoLA More. It was such a great night, I feel like Lily and I could tell so many stories from this night.

Santa Monica Stairs great for a workout

Santa Monica Stairs

I ran down to the Santa Monica stairs with my mom and it was a great workout! We've also done the Calabasas Stairs, which I like more. The stairs in Santa Monica were a little narrow which made it hard for people to go up at different paces.

Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, Los Feliz Flea Market, and more pictures from a weekend in LA

Weekend Activities

One weekend I went to the Natural History Museum with my family and we went into the spider exhibit... yes even me! We saw some huge spiders, but spiders are just everywhere in California, which no one prepared me for.

Flowers in Santa Monica, California

So Many Flowers

The gardens in my neighborhood have the most beautiful flowers. Here's a few I found on my walk to the beach.
